I am a senior technology specialist at Education Development Center in Boston, MA. Since 1997, I have worked in the educational technology field, both in the US and abroad in areas of professional development, curriculum development, instruction, research, evaluation, database and web design, planning for technology, and software review. I have worked with students, teachers, administrators, state and national educational organizations, NGOs, multilateral and bilateral aid agencies, universities and community groups. I have worked extensively in the US--with migrant communities on the Texas-Mexico border; inner city schools (New Orleans, Boston, Omaha, Lafayette, Providence). I've also worked in Mexico, the Caribbean; West, Southern and East Africa; the Middle East; Central Asia; Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, Ireland, England, and Brazil. My work at EDC is varied and interesting, ranging from in-class teacher assistance to authoring books for Ministries, developing educational technology policy, technology evaluations, technical assistance, and advising Ministries of Education and aid agencies. I speak French, Spanish and Portguese, in addition to English.
